Location

ooro Kingdom is situated in Uganda.

It is bordered by Kibaale district in the north, Mubende district in the North East, Kasese and Rubirizi districts in the South, Democratic Republic of Congo in the West and Ibanda and Kiruhura districts in the South East. See map adjacent.

The Kingdom is comprised of seven (7) districts: –

• Kabarole District
• Bunyangabu District (formerly part of Kabarole District until 2017)
• Kamwenge District (formerly part of Kabarole District until 2000)
• Kyegegwa District (formerly part of Kyenjojo District until 2009)
• Kyenjojo District (formerly part of Kabarole District until 2000)
• Kitagwenda District (formerly part of Kamwenge District until 2019)
• Ntoroko District (formerly part of Bundibugyo District until 2010)

The headquarters of the Kingdom are in Fort Portal Tourism City.
